Also, I’m told that, at long last, the Bitter Truth brand bitters from Germany will be available in Washington. The Bitter Truth’s Jerry Thomas bitters would be a good substitute for Angostura in most drinks.

The Angostura aromatic bitters will be available soon, it is already in the country i understand, so soon there will be no shortage. The product has been around for over 185 years and has had a remarkable reputation, not easily replaceable.
The Bitter Truth has always spoken highly of Angostura bitters so it is interesting that you have gone out and produced your own. I wish you good luck.
