50 ml (2 oz) Bourbon Whiskey

10 ml (1/3 oz) The Bitter Truth Pimento Dram

Orange Zest

Build in tumbler and stir carefully. Garnish with orange zest.

60 ml (2 oz) Dry Sherry

5 ml (1/6 oz) Orange Curaçao

5 ml (1/6 oz) The Bitter Truth – Pimento Dram

1 dash The Bitter Truth – Orange Bitters

Stir in mixing glass with ice & strain into a cocktail glass.

  • 7 ml Brown Sugar Syrup
  • 12.5 ml Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum
  • 10 ml The Bitter Truth Apricot Brandy
  • 1 dash The Bitter Truth Pimento Dram
  • 5 dashes The Bitter Truth Grapefruit Bitters
  • 37.5 ml Prosecco

Glass: Large Coupette
Serve: Muddle, strain, then top with Prosecco

At Small Screen Networks newest episode of The Cocktail Spirit with Robert Hess, Robert explains how to make a Lion`s Tail Cocktail using The Bitters Truth`s newest edition to the liquor cabinet of american bartenders, Pimento Dram.

Once very popular in TIKI drinks, this flavorful (originally) Jamaican liqueur was rarely seen outsite of the Caribbean island for many, many years and just made its comeback by the release of The Bitter Truth Pimento Dram, an intensivly rich spice liqueur based on allspice (the Jamaican`s called it Pimento, but it´s also commonly known as Jamaican Pepper) and pot still distilled jamaican molasses rum. Serve: Shake and double strain

  • 2 x Orange Zest
  • 10 ml The Bitter Truth Apricot Brandy
  • 50 ml Rowan’s Creek Bourbon
  • 2 ml Pimento Dram
  • 2 drops The Bitter Truth Aromatic and Jerry Thomas Bitters

Glass: Rocks
Serve: Stir for 3.5 minutes over ice
Garnish: Orange Peel
