Ready for a cubed Old Fashioned Cocktail?

The Old Fashioned Cocktail is simple yet multidimensional. Its few ingredients combine to create what some consider the perfect cocktail. You can make old fashioned cocktails with any spirit; rum and tequila both make a wonderful old fashioned.

50 ml (2 oz) The Bitter Truth – E**X**R

Ginger Ale or Ginger Beer

Build in longdrink glass on ice and stir. Garnish with

orange peel.

50 ml (2 oz) Old Tom Gin

20 ml (3/4 oz) The Bitter Truth Elderflower Liqueur

20 ml Brut (3/4 oz) Champagne

fresh Mint Bunch

fresh Cucumber Cubes

fresh Lemon Wedges

Muddle fruit, add alcohol and stir with crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig.

50 ml (2 oz) Bourbon Whiskey

20 ml (3/4 oz) Sweet Vermouth

20 ml Brut (3/4 oz) Champagne

2 dashes The Bitter Truth Aromatic Bitters

Stir and serve straight up add Champagne on top and garnish with a cherry.

50 ml (2 oz) golden Rum

20 ml (3/4 oz) fresh Lime Juice

2 dashes The Bitter Trutht – Jerry Thomas Bitters

1 Eggwhite

1 tsp white Sugar

Stir and serve straight up with a lime twist.

Wild Mountain Thyme Julep

60 ml (2 oz) Irish Whiskey

30 ml (1 oz) maple syrup

30ml (1 oz) The Bitter Truth – E**X**R or Elixier

15 ml (1/2 oz) fresh lemon juice

large bunch of fresh Thyme.

Muddle thyme in the maple syrup, add other ingredients and shake.  Strain and pour in a julep cup filled with crushed ice and garnish with a fat sprig of fresh flowering thyme.

60 ml (2 oz) Irish Whiskey

25 ml (3/4 oz) Cynar

25 ml (3/4 oz) Maraschino liqueur

3 dash of Bitter Truth Creole Bitters

Stir and serve up in a cocktail glass with a lemon twist

20 ml (1 oz) The Bitter Truth – Elderflower Liqueur

30 ml (1 oz) Dry Gin

30 ml (1 oz) fresh Lemon Juice

10 ml (1/3 oz) Sugar Syrup

Soda Water

Shake with ice and strain into a Collins/ long drink glass filled with ice

Add soda water and stir carfully. Garnish with lemon slice.
